Before, During, and After Your Appointment
Avoid waxing or plucking for a few weeks before your appointment, since the laser needs to target the hair root. We do recommend shaving the area a day or two before your visit.
During the treatment, you might feel a quick snap or warm sensation as the laser pulses. Most people describe it as uncomfortable but manageable, especially for smaller areas. Sessions often take less than 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area.
It’s normal to have mild redness or sensitivity afterward, but that usually fades within a day. You’ll also notice the hair begins to shed in the days and weeks following your visit. Most people need between four and eight sessions, spaced several weeks apart, to get the best results.
