What is PelleFirm?

PelleFirm is a non-invasive contouring treatment that helps smooth and tighten the skin. It is commonly used to reverse or treat cellulite, but it can firm any loose skin on the body.

PelleFirm works by heating up the skin tissue with the use of a handheld radio frequency device. Heating up the skin increases collagen production. The increase in collagen production will help reduce the appearance of cellulite and tighten/firm the skin.

What Areas Can Be Treated with PelleFirm?

Areas on the body that can be treated with PelleFirm include the:

  • thighs
  • buttocks
  • legs
  • arms
  • abdomen

The part of the body you are treating will determine how many treatments you will need.

Is PelleFirm Painful?

Even though PelleFirm heats up the skin using radio frequencies, it is pain free. Some patients may feel a slight warming sensation during a single treatment, but it does not last long. In some cases, there is a tingling sensation, but like the warming sensation is goes away after the treatment is complete.

How Long Does It Take to See Results?

Our patients often start to see results from PelleFirm after the first appointment with our staff. The best results, however, are seen after three to four treatments. This is often when our patients report seeing an increase in the firmness or smoothness of the skin.

Is PelleFirm a One-Appointment Treatment Option?

No, PelleFirm is not a one-appointment treatment option. Patients will need to schedule multiple treatments in order to see maximum results. A single series of treatments will often involve anywhere from four to six office visits.
